Reuben Vurdien & Reuben Power Team reviews EV Charging Point Project at Dynamatic Technologies

Reuben Vurdien, the CEO of Reuben Power Plc, along with Andrew Wallis, Head of IT, Reuben Power plc, and Steve Phillips, Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, BAM Nuttall Limited, visited Dynamatic Technologies from 10th-15th May 2010 for discussions on the techno-commercial aspects of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point Units which Dynamatic Technologies is currently designing and developing for Reuben Power. This visit which follows Dynamatic Technologies’s signing of exclusive agreement with Reuben Power in January 2010 for the design, development and manufacture of EV charging points to Reuben Power’s requirements, on an exclusive worldwide remit, is Reuben Vurdien’s first trip to India and Dynamatic Technologies.

"I was most impressed with the quality of the facilities, the high standards apparent in the manufacturing processes, the professionalism, the determination and passion in everyone I met” said Reuben Vurdien, at the end of his visit. “ Our two companies started on a journey which is only six months old, and, yet we have achieved so much. The road is still long and so far it has proved to be very enjoyable. Long may it last!"

Reuben Vurdien and his team spent most part of the week at Dynamatic Technologies park, engaging with leadership team at Dynamatic Technologies as well as the design engineers at Powermetric® Design to review the progress made on the EV Charging Point project and to set targets for the immediate future.

Boeing Visit Revs P8I Project!

On 27th April 2010, Dynamatic Technologies hosted a senior management team from Boeing comprising of Steve Hollycross, Director, Supplier Management – F/A-18 Program, Robyn A Perry-Garrison, Director – Boeing Military Aircraft (BMA) Mission Systems Supplier Management, Defence, Space and Security, and Ken Daniel, Senior Manager, Supplier Management P8 International programs. They were accompanied by members of the P8I project team including Mark Weller, Manager Supplier Program, Juleah Swanson, Procurement Agent, Mark Beaumont, Director of Enterprise Sourcing India, Venkatesha Hollabbi, Richard Lomax, Supplier Quality India, & Roland Perez, International Supplier Program Manager.

This visit comes in wake of Dynamatic Technologies’s recent partnership with Boeing for the manufacture of cabinets to house critical power and mission equipment for the P-8I, a multi-mission maritime aircraft developed by Boeing and customized for the Indian Navy. Boeing’s P8I project team spent the week at Dynamatic Park to discuss and plan the various aspects of the project, and expressed their satisfaction at the progress made particularly with respect to space allocation.
